Zumba, Zumba Everywhere…Zumba is giving me Taebo flashbacks, except worse. Beto Perez is becoming the quieter version of Billy Banks. There are a litany of videos available. There are clothing lines and workout materials. Local gyms are having Zumba classes. And in a few minute I think I’m going to go to the store and get the Zumba Fitnesss Wii game.
Taebo didn’t even have a video game!
Review: Zumba Fitness Claims, Complaints, Fraud, Scams
Claims:
According to ZumbaFitness.com, Zumba Fitness claims the following:
- Burn at a rate as high as 1000 calories per hour
- Target your lower body, abs, core and upper body
- Lose a dress or pant size in your first 10 days
So we went to go see if they were worth colors used on the website…
Complaints:
Every site we came across confirmed that Zumba will get your a** in gear and that you can get out what you put into it. And the complaints we found were typical.
- Customer Service – Someone uncovered a glitch in the phone ordering system and had to cancel his credit card and file a complaint.
- Late in arriving – someone ordered 3 weeks before Christmas and had a disappointed little girl on Christmas Morning.
But I Don’t Know the Steps?
The cool part about the fitness workout DVD collections is that they have a basic training DVD to get your started. Even those who liked it said it takes a little practice to master the steps, but once you do it’s actually fun. And the fun is what keeps you coming back for more…

As far as we can tell, Beach Body wasn’t associate with it. Their franchise influence was used to create a subnetwork. It’s not everyday reaches such potential that someone can use it so subversively. In a twisted, round-about way, it’s a testament to the popularity of the product. Only big time franchises ever have to fear of this happening.
Customer Service Stepping Up
Given their profound network and thousands of coaches teaching these classes, the complaints have only shrunk since we first saw the product two years ago. That makes us smile.
