It's 1:45am. I'm starting to watch USA Network's "Pysch" from beginning to end. I have a laptop on one TV tray and a mouse pad on the other. I've never been good with desks. I wish I could adjust the one on the left where the laptop rests so I could angle it to the second monitor a bit better. I look at the Table-Mate with envy. The question is whether or not th etime it would take to adjust the height would be worth the effort.
Ever had a TV tray and wished you could switch the height so it fit you perfectly on the bed, the chair and the couch.
I'm missing my couch.
Well, someone did and they did something about it. We're guessing that's the inspiration for the Table-Mate. But the adjustable height isn't our favorite part. Our favorite part is the cup holder that sits off the side of the Table-Mate, meaning that more table space is open to holding my ergonomic keyboard and popcorn and the like.
According to www.tablemate.com, Table-Mate claims the following features and benefits:
- most comfortable portable table
- built-in cup-holder
- slides to you
- 6 different heights
- holds up to 50 lbs.
Order Process: We'll confess that this is one of the priceier BOGOs we've come across. Usually a $30 dollar price tag on a product doesn't come with a BOGO but with the extra $10 you'll get the second one. If you order from the product website, it'll come out to about $50 when you throw in the shipping. Amazon (link below) probably has it cheaper for a single one, but either item are fun.
Product Performance: This one has been fun to check out. We've had to dust off some old reviews to see what people thought. Though what we found online is fluffy. Light and fluffy. That kind of fluff that can get thrown in the air and ride the air waves all the way to the cold return next to the couch.
Our favorite review? NBC 11 Atlanta's video review. They even got a high school state cross country coach to test it out. Take a peak below:
Well, if they're willing to pull this product off the moth balls and put it back into As Seen on TV late night circulation instead of trying out another of the thousands of products waiting in the wings for their chance at stardom, we expect good things. We expect someone's going to figure out those cup holders will hold beer. Other will find out they can play a mean game of solitaire on those things. And some folks will probably use them as footrests, the bastards.
But given the reviews we've gone over, we think people have found a friend in the Table-Mate. Product Site Customer Service: Address:Table Mate™ P.O. Box 3179 Wallingford, CT 06494

Before I'd ever use a product like Dr. Ho's Back Belt, I would consult my chiropractor - who I haven't seen in awhile. What we found is that most people wouldn't take such an approach...
I would swear that the NutriBullet is just a Magic Bullet with a different plastic skin and fonts & iconography. I assume that if I want to make veggie smoothies I could just use a Magic Bullet, but apparently I can't. Or something like that. I'm still looking.
This is one of those times where my grandfather bought something he wanted to see on TV and it was a great idea. I went into the garage and click the switch when I realized the light-bulb didn't look like an ordinary light-bulb.
With so many acne products out and about, on television, on the shelves, at the impulse counter, next to the Redbox and vending machines...It's enough to make one wonder as to why the competition is so fierce. Is it because no single product works well enough? Or is it because people have a hard time telling which product works for them. Maybe Neutrogena is onto something with the SkinID.
Awesome Auger - Was It PitchMen's Billy Mays that Made it Awesome? Or was it Awesome Auger inventor Tommie Matasko and his inspiring story that lead to the Auger's invention? Please visit the As Seen on TV Life Summary Review and find out.
Before Vince came out with his copycat ShamWOW and his Time/Life operator headphones, there was a super-absorbent cloth that took care of the chills and spills your clumsy day created. And all you needed to know was that Billy Mays thought it was awesome.
