Original offer details & such: $19.95 + $8.95 S&H. BOGO: $8.95 S&H Sales tax: CA, FL. Guarantee: 30-day (minus S&H).

We'd be hard-pressed to find a product more controversial than the Riddex Pulse. Take that back, the Pulse doesn't have as much chatter but it still contributes to the overall Riddex debate.

When we used to run the old agency blog we saw heated debates regarding the performance. We'll warn you know. But the arguments had pros and cons so don't think we're being too harsh, yet.

On with the debate.

What Is Riddex Pulse?

Riddex Pulse is an electronic pest controller that uses "digital pulse" technology which emits frequencies that are inaudible to human but are as annoying as hell to rodents and pets. The theory is that the frequency is also to high for dogs, cats, fish & bird to hear. Go figure it's the nuclear war-surviving cockroaches that hear louder than the rest of us. In theory you only need one pulse per level, but if you have a ranch-styled home you'll probably need a second one.

Benefits, Claims & Features

According to, Riddex Pulse claims the following features and benefits:

  • over 3 million Riddex units sold
  • no noxious fumes
  • prevents future pests from entering
  • works behind walls, floors & ceilings
  • no cleanup

Does Riddex Pulse Work? Complaints, Frauds, Rip-Offs, Scams...

Order Process: This is the easy one of the two. Of the complaints we find, the order process doesn't seem to be one of them. Off the official product website it is 1 main offer with S&H and a BOGO that has a second S&H. Pretty standard anymore. It doesn't look like people have been having issues with the upsell process either.

Product Performance: As we've said before, it's been one of the more debated products we've seen throughout the years. There is quite a bit of chatter regarding its performance .

We found a couple 3rd party forums where the conversation seems to be more level-headed. Please take a look at them and let us know what you think:

Neutrogena SkinID [Review] - Free Skin ID Evaluation

With so many acne products out and about, on television, on the shelves, at the impulse counter, next to the Redbox and vending machines...It's enough to make one wonder as to why the competition is so fierce. Is it because no single product works well enough? Or is it because people have a hard time telling which product works for them. Maybe Neutrogena is onto something with the SkinID.
