A pet owner's experience isn't complete until they've given their companion an As Seen on TV pet toy to rip to shreds. Or at least try to. Actually, we think there's a federal law that states that pet owners have to buy at least one infomercial product per year per pet. No sharing! :-P (jk)

Here at As Seen on TV Life, we love everything there is to love about infomercial pet products. We love the zany ideas, those, "why didn't we think of that," moments and the controversy that can go into some of the products.

Afterall, you haven't lived until you've made a cat owner mad.

[Review] Instant Trainer Leash - who's training who?

The Instant Trainer leash is a device the helps train a dog not to run too far on ahead but pulling them back. The good news is that instead of pulling directly from the neck it pulls on both the neck and the body evenly, distributing the pressure and providing gentler, yet firm resistance that the dog should respect.

When my dog finally gave up the ghost, grandma buried him herself in the backyard underneath the maple tree. Five years later we had to remove the maple tree because it was diseased. Now, we're not quite sure where JW was buried. Now, if we had a pet gravestone like Lasting Memory Paw, we'd a had a memorial marker that wouldn't have gotten diseased.

Comfy Control Dog Harness Review - Updated

Why give your pet something you yourself wouldn't wear? Now, collars, we'll that's a discussion for a more 'intimate' forum, but vests, who wouldn't wear a vest (fashion season pending)? That's why Comfy Control Dog Harness is so appealing to me.

Because there aren't enough pet shedding tools & products out there, along comes Shed Pal. What makes Shed Pal so unique and different from its competitors that it should warrant attention? Good question, but that's why we're here. So, let's take a deeper look:

I have a long-professed love of my iPhone. It does all my messaging and engagement - phone, video, text, email, social media...I also use the calendar and notes features that syncs to Google Calendar, keeping track of everything I need. So at first, glance, I didn't even consider the Dog-E-Minder, but then I realized: what if what the Dog needs something and my iPhone isn't around. Might as well let the dog keep track of his own essentials. Carry their own weight around here.

She eats the food right up and hasn't convulsed since. It's so much better than having to blow air on her nose to make her open her mouth before jamming the pill down her throat and hoping she swallows it. So when we find a supplement that you can put in our pets' food without having to stress their jaws out to get them to try it. We're paying attention.

Snuggie for Dogs [Review]. It Sure Got a Lot of Attention.

Let's see if this Snuggie was for the dogs.

Once in awhile, you just need to hear some good news. Especially in an era of war and depression and 99 week unemployment plans, something positive is a rarefied luxury. I was glad when I got the assignment to make sure Christian the Lion was a fun, inspiring story. I think y'all will like it as well.

Emery Cat Board [Review]. It's a Cat Thing

So my cat is rolling around on the table, gnawing on my backpack strap and stalking every car that passes by. You would have thought I put catnip in there. She's playful and board and looks like she needs something new to pass the time away. It's like she knew I was looking at the Emery Cat Board. Someone must have told her about the catnip. Well, buddy, come see what it's all about (and quit chewing on my backpack, freak :-P).

Decompressing w/ Dr. Ho's Back Belt [Review] - (I could have said, "pimpin' ").

Before I'd ever use a product like Dr. Ho's Back Belt, I would consult my chiropractor - who I haven't seen in awhile. What we found is that most people wouldn't take such an approach...

[Review] NutriBullet - It's Better Than Your Blender Because???? WTF?

I would swear that the NutriBullet is just a Magic Bullet with a different plastic skin and fonts & iconography. I assume that if I want to make veggie smoothies I could just use a Magic Bullet, but apparently I can't. Or something like that. I'm still looking.

Review - InstaBulb w/ Anthony Sullivan - Another Classic My Grandfather Used

This is one of those times where my grandfather bought something he wanted to see on TV and it was a great idea. I went into the garage and click the switch when I realized the light-bulb didn't look like an ordinary light-bulb.

Neutrogena SkinID [Review] - Free Skin ID Evaluation

With so many acne products out and about, on television, on the shelves, at the impulse counter, next to the Redbox and vending machines...It's enough to make one wonder as to why the competition is so fierce. Is it because no single product works well enough? Or is it because people have a hard time telling which product works for them. Maybe Neutrogena is onto something with the SkinID.
