Damn! Lauren Hutton turns...wait for it...68 on November 17, 2011. 68? 68? Are you serious? Not 38? It's If I can look half that good at half her age I'll be twice as happy as I am right now. I need something because the aging is catching up with me.

I'm not the only one either. It's the only reason why Lauren Hutton's Face Disc has been such a great seller on TV since 2006. Only the great products last in this industry past 89 days.

Let's take a deeper look...

Features & Claims - Lauren Hutton Face Disc Makeup

According to, Lauren Hutton's Face Disc makeup system claims the following features:

  • Face Disc (11 pots of makeup)
  • Lauren's 7-Best Brushes - with carry case
  • Fold-out instruction brochure
  • Face Disc instructional DVD
  • Lauren's lengthening mascara
  • Lauren's No Shine tinted moisturizer
  • Better Than Spice lip pencil
  • Lauren's Suck Ups oil blotting paper
  • Quilted cosmetic carrying case
  • Free Membership - Lauren's Trade Secrets Makeup Club

According to the site, it's the makeup that let's the "you" shine through.

Why did Lauren Hutton design Face Disc

According to the story, Lauren was looking to get back into modeling but the makeup she was using was making her look more like she had plastic surgery than glowing skin. So, at 46, she realized that in order to compete with the teen-agers & twenty-somethings for the modeling jobs, she was going to need to find something that would help her balance the playing field. What she found was that she was going to have to do it herself.

A bit of tweaking, testing, poking and playing around and, eventually, Face Disc was born. It's been the stuff that has her looking obnoxiously younger than her actual age.

Really, Lauren, there's no way you're turning 68!

Review - Lauren Hutton Face Disc Complaints, Frauds, Rip-Offs, Scams...

Order Process: So far we haven't found anything that would indicate that customers were having issues with ordering. We checked the typical complaint sites and a few well-trafficked forums and did not discover any significant issues. Both phone and online orders seemed to be smooth.

Product Performance : we were actually happy to find that most everywhere we went, people raved about the product. We go through a lot of products and seldom do we see such a uniformity amongst a product's users. Here's a a sample of what we found at "I purchased one of the face discs a couple of years ago and loved it." HSN was another place where we found some good content.

We also put together a video playlist of people who posted their video reviews of Lauren Hutton Face Disc. You'll find that people are enjoying it. There's a few testimonials an a couple commercials in the playlist.

I would swear that the NutriBullet is just a Magic Bullet with a different plastic skin and fonts & iconography. I assume that if I want to make veggie smoothies I could just use a Magic Bullet, but apparently I can't. Or something like that. I'm still looking.

Neutrogena SkinID [Review] - Free Skin ID Evaluation

With so many acne products out and about, on television, on the shelves, at the impulse counter, next to the Redbox and vending machines...It's enough to make one wonder as to why the competition is so fierce. Is it because no single product works well enough? Or is it because people have a hard time telling which product works for them. Maybe Neutrogena is onto something with the SkinID.
