When we got the Tasty Pops reviewed this summer, we thought we’d seen the last of these products. Not because cake pops aren’t cool, they are. It’s because we underestimated the market for cake pops.

Leave it to TELEBrands to prove us wrong.

And just because we’re not smart enough to review things when we’re hungry, we gained 4 lbs. each during this review. But was Bake Pops worth the poundage?

Let’s see what we found…

What Are Bake Pops?

Bake Pops are a systematic way to make cake pops. Pans, sticks, wraps, ties, and an idea guide for the creatively challenged such as myself. The one who came up with this proves that sometimes the best ideas are just improvements upon existing ideas. According to TELEBrands, Bake Pops are perfect for any holiday, make great treats and, we’re guessing, they’re great for holiday parties. There’s also sorts of web traffic going off about this product so we’re looking forward to reading over the reviews.

Let’s see what the internet has baked up.

Benefits, Claims & Features

According to official product website BakePops.com, Bake Pops claims the following features and benefits:

  • perfect for any holiday
  • “grab & go” food
  • no forks, plates or mess
  • dishwasher safe
  • 30-day money-back guarantee

Do Bake Pops Work? Complaints, Frauds, Rip-Offs, Scams…

Order Process: We found a thread on pissed consumer where people were charged for multiple orders. It looks like it happened on more than one occasion. If you’re ordering online remember the following: 1) NEVER push the back button on your browser after you’ve ordered or the order will run through again adn 2) Make sure you add up the total charges in advance.

In this case: $19.99 + $7.99 S&H = $27.98 for 1 set. And if you’re out of the continental US…add another $10. Now many of these systems don’t process orders until midnight of that day and then it’s at the mercy of the fullfillment center. Waiting a couple days for customer service to see your information isn’t unheard of. Not that we agree with it, but welcome to the industry. The customer service info on the site review actually says:

“should you wish to phone us and to avoid a long wait, it is suggested that you call on Thursday or Friday 9:00am to 5:00pm EST.” Let us know if this tip helps you.

Why would TELEBrands suggest this?

Because at the time of this review, Bake Pops is a top ten product. It’s getting mad traffic. Be patient, order slowly and you should be okay. If you have problems, let us know.

Product Performance: We liked what we found. Kitchen products and be hit-or-miss. The marketing fluff reviews will all-but-tell you that the product bakes itself, but we dug a little deeper. Of the reviews we found, this video below seemed to be the most authentic. A lady took the Bake Pops from packaging through her first round of baking. The results seemed to surprise her. Let us know what you think:

We drew the conclusion that if she tried this a couple more times she’d be even better. Just a little practice…
