I’m not quite sure what the deal is with these kid pet toys or why none of them ever feature a bear in the advertisements. Now, wait, Is that right? Hold on 45 seconds pass… yeah. NO BEARS As if kids have never snuggled up to a teddy bear when they go to sleep at night. Oooh, product niche opportunity…
Anyway, I’ve seen I don’t know which came first: Pillow Pets or Happy Nappers. I don’t really care. Pillow Pets became the runaway success but before you go pledging your allegiance to Pillow Pets, check out Happy Nappers. They go a step further in innovation and people seem to like to sleep to them.
People?
Yeah. I said, “people.” Tell you what, it might be because it’s late at night but if I had a Happy Napper to my right right now, I’d be happily napping right now.
How Happy Nappers Work
Pillow Pets never had a doorbell. Happy Nappers do. And where Pillow Pets were just a fold-in-half to make the pillow, with Happy Nappers, you you get to fold it in an out. Push the doorbell, get some, “Home Sweet Home,” and you and/or your kid (if you’re willing to hand it over) can reverse the home, castle…into the napper. Play around have some fun, and when it’s time to put the napper back to bed, “give it a hug,” and fold it back into its home.
It’s like Pillow Pets mets a pet turtle meets a transformer.
Still, a bear / bear cave Happy Napper would have been cool.
Review – Happy Nappers Complaints, Frauds, Rip-offs, Scams…
We went looking around the typical complaint sites and found no significant issue…
Order Process: Both phone orders and online orders seemed to go with little / no complaints.
Product Performance: We didn’t find any major issues with the Happy Nappers.
What Others Have Said About Happy Nappers
MomandMore.com: “I think Happy Nappers is really a great idea and have a feeling I will be buying one for my 4 year old and then one for my baby girl coming in July.” – And, apparently, there is a teddy bear.
CocktailswithMom.com: “There’s nothing better than a child having a Happy Nap with their Happy Napper.”
UPDATE 2010/10/21: The only complaints we still see are when they got bombarded with orders and customers had a wait time. That came from our comments in our review post. Once we’re smart enough to figure out how to transfer the comments, we’ll transfer them over. But judging from the activity, it looks as though supply has caught back up with demand. Remember: most As Seen on TV products can take up to 6 weeks to deliver during their peak demand.
