My fiance, Bella, often discusses the joy of having a fiance with longer hair than her. If her girl friends aren't around and she wants to try a hairstyle out, the next thing I know I'm sitting on the with my back to the foot of the bed so she can test techniques and hair accessories out on some thick, curly, Welsh hair. Then she takes pictures and holds them over me as leverage. I love her :-). I sent her a link to the Hot Buns site (see below) . She texted back:
I do have to run by the store on the way home.
We'll post pictures if she decides to get them.
Below is the review...
Really? Who the Hell came up with the name of this one? Given cinnamon rolls as well as the sensual connotations of the name, we were a bit stunned when we heard the name. Product promotion and branding theory aside, Hot Buns are hair accessories that are meant to enhance the size and shape of a person's bun hairstyle. It is also meant to keep them in longer than with traditional hair accessories. And, no, cinnamon isn't the secret ingredient on this one but now I'm hungry.
According to www.buyhotbuns.com, Hot Buns accessories claim the following features and benefits:
- easy to use for all ages
- perfect for casual or elegant wear
- beautiful, bouncy curls
- you can sleep in it
- free bonus style guide
Order Process: This one can be a pain in the ass to do the math one. Note, the product site offer is a Buy 2, Get 2 offer. Note: you are purchasing an offer from the product site, not the product . There are 4 buns in the offer. No, you can't make 2 light and 2 dark. It's either 4 light or 4 dark. When you go the product site and use their light & dark drop downs. If you put a 1 in each drop down, you will purchase 2 orders. If you pick 2 of each, you will order 16 buns all together.
The other thing to note is the purchase URL: buyitsecure.com. Product site | digital marketers will use one domain for product checkouts to save on the cost of purchasing multiple SSLs (the secure layer on a domain) and webhosting. We offer the same cost-effective ecommerce on our system for our clients. Our data has show it shrinks conversion ratios but keeps the monthly overhead down. All that googley-woogley talk means that, don't worry if it goes there. The site is designed to do so.
Product Performance: The proof is in the pudding. Well, if the pudding was a video. We love beauty products becacuse people are quick to video themselves using it. From the reviews we read and watched, we pointed a couple favorites below:
We found quite a few reviews but when we ran across this one we couldn't resist. It's precious. Check it out:
With all beauty products, especially ones that are unique, there is always a learning curve when it comes to trying them out. The videos above show that one person figures it out quick and another will have some time to figure it out. We're a fan of Hot Buns. I have a feeling I should expect Bella trying them out on my 'fro.
Also, we like hot buns. If ever you are in the Chicago area and would like to bring us a box of Cinnabons, or if you make your own, we'd love to try them out. If you make some for us we'll post your video and pics of them...either the goodies or the hair accessories...for you!

Before I'd ever use a product like Dr. Ho's Back Belt, I would consult my chiropractor - who I haven't seen in awhile. What we found is that most people wouldn't take such an approach...
I would swear that the NutriBullet is just a Magic Bullet with a different plastic skin and fonts & iconography. I assume that if I want to make veggie smoothies I could just use a Magic Bullet, but apparently I can't. Or something like that. I'm still looking.
This is one of those times where my grandfather bought something he wanted to see on TV and it was a great idea. I went into the garage and click the switch when I realized the light-bulb didn't look like an ordinary light-bulb.
With so many acne products out and about, on television, on the shelves, at the impulse counter, next to the Redbox and vending machines...It's enough to make one wonder as to why the competition is so fierce. Is it because no single product works well enough? Or is it because people have a hard time telling which product works for them. Maybe Neutrogena is onto something with the SkinID.
Awesome Auger - Was It PitchMen's Billy Mays that Made it Awesome? Or was it Awesome Auger inventor Tommie Matasko and his inspiring story that lead to the Auger's invention? Please visit the As Seen on TV Life Summary Review and find out.
Before Vince came out with his copycat ShamWOW and his Time/Life operator headphones, there was a super-absorbent cloth that took care of the chills and spills your clumsy day created. And all you needed to know was that Billy Mays thought it was awesome.
