Garage

Work benches, all-in-one toolboxes, 72-hour kits, anything that belongs in a garage, we'll review it. If you see it on TV, think it belongs in a garage and want to learn more about it, let us know. If we ain't reviewed it yet, chances are we'll review it shortly.

Garage products are hard to classify because they can also be garden products or automotive products or general outdoor products. And we have categories for each of them. So if you are looking for something that you think belongs in the garage but could qualify in these other categories, make sure you check out these other categories as well.

Also, our search bar up top works pretty well as well.

Have a Garage product you'd like us to review? Let us know! We love hearing about new products!

This is another classic case where the product name aptly describes its function. It's a surge protector with swivel sides so the wires can better line up with the device. This helps keeps the bends and kinks in the wires to a minimum while at the same time better conforming the protector to the space where it lays.

It's a 6-inch flashlight and a 22-inch flashlight, sometimes at the same time if you're really clever. It's also one of those neat little flashlights that bend around corners and over shoulders for late night camping reading. Use it as a wand when needing to signal folks or landing airplanes, or looking into your car. Shrink it up for tight, hard-to-reach areas. And if you are really feeling adventuresome, let you children use it as a cane.

It's a multi-directional ratchet screwdriver which eases in the stripping and potential torquing of a device. The Kobalt Double Driver Screwdriver comes in a 29-piece which allows the device to adjust the the many shapes and sizes of screws that are on the market. The holster is so you can have that Gary Cooper feeling when you're working. 10-gallon hat sold separately.

It's a ratchet set that turns both left and right pending on the setting. The philosophy is that being able to tighten regardless of direction, thereby quickening the time it would take to get the job done.

Olde Brooklyn is a name given to a vintage-styled lantern that can be used either indoors or outdoors. And since the lanterns are lit with LED lights, they're not subjected to the same issues one would have with actual kerosene lanterns

My grandfather is selling his house. After 61 years, it's time for something smaller. His last incentive left last week as well - his best friend / neighbor across the yard is moving too. They'll be neighbors in the nice senior citizen community on the north side near the lake, but we've got a couple things left to do. 1) Fix a couple leaks 2) Sell the house - which might not happen with the way his new neighbors behind him have trashed out the place. For the first issue, we started on a sealant. What did we use? A generic. But then my Grandfather started asking me which was better - Flex Seal or Might Sealer.

The latest incarnation for the multimillion selling product institution, Riddex Power Plus uses high-frequency sounds out of normal human hearing ranges in order to drive mice & rodents a little buggy and from your house.

With Greenworks, one gets a little of both - she gets the 'eco-friendly' peace of mind, I get to pretend I still have a pair...oh gas guzzling power tools.

Does Instahang fulfill the purpose for which they are designed or are they simply - like gun-shaped lighters - for show.

For this one, they've tapped none other than Dirty Jobs' Mike Rowe for the launch of Dirty Jobs Stain Remover. And because they took nothing for granted, they also tapped Niecy Nash to promote the product as well.

Decompressing w/ Dr. Ho's Back Belt [Review] - (I could have said, "pimpin' ").

Before I'd ever use a product like Dr. Ho's Back Belt, I would consult my chiropractor - who I haven't seen in awhile. What we found is that most people wouldn't take such an approach...

[Review] NutriBullet - It's Better Than Your Blender Because???? WTF?

Posted on: 01 22, 2013 at 01:17 - {ARTICLE_FBCOMMENTS} comments

I would swear that the NutriBullet is just a Magic Bullet with a different plastic skin and fonts & iconography. I assume that if I want to make veggie smoothies I could just use a Magic Bullet, but apparently I can't. Or something like that. I'm still looking.

This is one of those times where my grandfather bought something he wanted to see on TV and it was a great idea. I went into the garage and click the switch when I realized the light-bulb didn't look like an ordinary light-bulb.

Neutrogena SkinID [Review] - Free Skin ID Evaluation

Posted on: 08 26, 2011 at 01:58 - {ARTICLE_FBCOMMENTS} comments

With so many acne products out and about, on television, on the shelves, at the impulse counter, next to the Redbox and vending machines...It's enough to make one wonder as to why the competition is so fierce. Is it because no single product works well enough? Or is it because people have a hard time telling which product works for them. Maybe Neutrogena is onto something with the SkinID.
