When we first reviewed Fast Brite in 2011, we were impressed by the way the product was received. It quickly became an As Seen on TV Sensation. Since the product has come out, it's been reviewed by many people - anywhere from Mommy Bloggers to news outlet If someone were to keep stat, they would probably discover that Fast Brite is one of the top ten most reviewed products of all time. Take a boy, boys and girls. You deserve it.
Fast Brite is a cleaning solution that claims to clean your cars old oxidized headlight covers, making them show room clean. The treatment comes with both the cleaning solution, lens protectant and an application sponge. The layered approach is supposed to not only clean your lenses but keep them protected and shiny for years to come.
According to www.TryFastBrite.com, Fast Brite claims the following features and benefits:
- Quick, Easy & Convenient
- Save Time and Money
- Makes Driving at Night Safer
- You Will Be Amazed at the Difference
- 30-Day Money Back Guarantee
Order Process: We found a couple complaints , but they were more about the price of the shipping and handling moreso than any functional issues with the order process. Remember that you are purchasing an OFFER not just a product. This OFFER has 2 S&H prices attached to it: 1 for the main offer and one for the BOGO (buy one, get one).
Product Performance: We found one off hand where a guy tried it on an old Ford and claims not to see a difference. He didn't post any pictures so we can't confirm. Luckily, we found a bevy of news outlets that took the product out for a run. Here's what some of them had to say:
NBC 4 Washington - A news team took the Fast Brite to a AAA autoshop and had the mechanics there test the product out on some older cars. The result: It worked! It increased the brightness on the headlights by over 15%. We we're impressed to see it.
CBS 12 Sacramento - The team at CBS 12 tests out the Fast Brite with Anderson Bros. Auto Body Shop to see if it takes the oxidation off the lenses of some older model cars. Their belief: it cleaned off the oxidation and made the headlights brighter. Two for two.
Fox 4 Dallas/Fort Worth - The Fox 4 team at Dallas Fort Worth takes it to a local shop to see if Fast Brite lives up to the advertisement. Their results? Unclear. They admit the Fast Brite cleans up the oxidation but they decide it doesn't bring the headlights back to the floor room shine. The still note that there's some yellowing in the lenses.
NBC 11 Out of Atlanta had this to say:
KFVS CBS 12 in Eastern Missouri tried it as well:
As did NBC 12 in Alabama : we would have embedded it but their embed code was acting wonky with our site.
With the Fast Brite, it depends on how much of a perfectionist you are. If you have heavy oxidation on the caps, then you'll see a considerable difference when using it. If they're still relatively clear, the difference will probably be harder to see.
The good news is that either way you'll either have get great vision or get affirmation that your vision on the road is still worthwhile.

Before I'd ever use a product like Dr. Ho's Back Belt, I would consult my chiropractor - who I haven't seen in awhile. What we found is that most people wouldn't take such an approach...
I would swear that the NutriBullet is just a Magic Bullet with a different plastic skin and fonts & iconography. I assume that if I want to make veggie smoothies I could just use a Magic Bullet, but apparently I can't. Or something like that. I'm still looking.
This is one of those times where my grandfather bought something he wanted to see on TV and it was a great idea. I went into the garage and click the switch when I realized the light-bulb didn't look like an ordinary light-bulb.
With so many acne products out and about, on television, on the shelves, at the impulse counter, next to the Redbox and vending machines...It's enough to make one wonder as to why the competition is so fierce. Is it because no single product works well enough? Or is it because people have a hard time telling which product works for them. Maybe Neutrogena is onto something with the SkinID.
Awesome Auger - Was It PitchMen's Billy Mays that Made it Awesome? Or was it Awesome Auger inventor Tommie Matasko and his inspiring story that lead to the Auger's invention? Please visit the As Seen on TV Life Summary Review and find out.
Before Vince came out with his copycat ShamWOW and his Time/Life operator headphones, there was a super-absorbent cloth that took care of the chills and spills your clumsy day created. And all you needed to know was that Billy Mays thought it was awesome.
