Diet

By the time you finish reading this long-winded sentence, another As Seen on TV Diet / Weight Loss program will be introduced to the market. They're plentiful, promoted, catchy, cagey and draw a lot of attention. The infomercial industry couldn't survive without them.

So, which programs are worth their weight and gold and which aren't worth the weight you want to lose in pigeon s***? Well, that's why we're here.

As Seen on TV Life will sort out the dirt on the latest diet & weight loss programs. We'll check reviews, complaints, compare to dietary standards, present you the facts and let you decide for yourself.

And if you have an opinion about them, let us know. We love good banter.

Have a diet product you want us to take a look at, review or try out? Let us know!

It's a diet pill. Drink it with water and it's supposed to expand to make you feel full. Natural s*** and specific language to make sure it's not mistaken for a supplement. But if you need something to help you cut down on dieting, this might be what you would like.

Right now the biggest difference we've noticed between weight watcher, Jenny Craig & NutriSystem is that Weight Watchers is more apt to allow you to eat your own food. NutriSystem & Jenny Craig is more about providing their own meals (backwards from what we anticipated). They both offer flexibility.

As with most any weight loss system / plan. It's gonna take time. So, if you have the dedication and the understanding that it will take time, a plan like Serotonin-Plus might be worthwhile for you.

Will Brush on Block do the trick? Well, that's why we review & research these things.

When we come across products like Supple Powder, we'll give it a fair listen. Since my mother can't walk real well on days she doesn't take her supplement, we'll listen to a product - so long as it hasn't been lampooned by users.

Call it karma that I'm doing a late-night review on the Great Shake Today Shakes by Herbalife. So as I go digging into this, I'm going to look at this as a reviewer and as a potential customer. It's something I should always do but I feel a touch incentivised.

To show we still have incomplete knowledge of the industry, the first time we heard about NV Diet was when they announced the signing of Holly Madison. Of course that got us to thinking up a couple questions:

6 Week Body Makeover [Review] - The Once-Over

The 6 Week Body Makeover has been around for years now. Still chugging away. Still creating converts who write, blog and believe in the ideas. The question is: are the ideals worth believing in.

Watching NBC's 'The Biggest Loser,' scares me in a very real way. I think it's Jillian Michaels that does it to me. She's fierce, determined & yet compassionate once she thinks you've broken down. She might actually make me feel like I could be successful. Maybe it's the fear of success that grips me.

Everybody has parts of their body they wish they could improve. Such as the nature of things. The answer to the question often comes down to the goals, time, effort & commitment it takes to achieve those results and how fast you want those results. Then you have to ask if you want little tide-me-over shortcuts to help you 'fake it till you make it.' Products like the Kymaro Body Shaper.

Best Price Comparisons. Reviews almost funnier than ours.

Try it. Bookmark it. Make it a part of your research arsenal.

Decompressing w/ Dr. Ho's Back Belt [Review] - (I could have said, "pimpin' ").

Before I'd ever use a product like Dr. Ho's Back Belt, I would consult my chiropractor - who I haven't seen in awhile. What we found is that most people wouldn't take such an approach...

[Review] NutriBullet - It's Better Than Your Blender Because???? WTF?

I would swear that the NutriBullet is just a Magic Bullet with a different plastic skin and fonts & iconography. I assume that if I want to make veggie smoothies I could just use a Magic Bullet, but apparently I can't. Or something like that. I'm still looking.

Review - InstaBulb w/ Anthony Sullivan - Another Classic My Grandfather Used

This is one of those times where my grandfather bought something he wanted to see on TV and it was a great idea. I went into the garage and click the switch when I realized the light-bulb didn't look like an ordinary light-bulb.

Neutrogena SkinID [Review] - Free Skin ID Evaluation

With so many acne products out and about, on television, on the shelves, at the impulse counter, next to the Redbox and vending machines...It's enough to make one wonder as to why the competition is so fierce. Is it because no single product works well enough? Or is it because people have a hard time telling which product works for them. Maybe Neutrogena is onto something with the SkinID.
