A couple months ago we did a review on Plaque Attack. People seemed to like it but a heavy debate rose over the use of grain alcohol in the formula. Grain alcohol is a rather common solvent in pet medication, but there was no middle ground in that debate:

  • Some said it would be okay in moderation (but consult with your doctor first).
  • Some passionate pet owners – especially the cat owners – were pretty adamant about avoiding grain alcohol.

AJ Khubani must have been listening because with TELEBrands newest hit, Dr. George’s Plaque Blast, they advertise that the pet plaque spray is 100% alcohol free.

But is that enough for you to buy it?

What is Plaque Blast?

Dr. George’s Plaque Blast is a new tooth spray the helps remove plaque and tarter from your pet’s teeth. The theory is that not only does the spray help keep the teeth clean, but also keeps the breath fresh too because Plaque Blast will kill bacteria.

Who Is Doctor George?

He’s my uncle. We go ridin’ round. South Alabama. West Texas Bound…OR, we’re not sure. But we did come across a trademark application for the product name. We’re gonna guess that it’s just the name of a product. At least it’s not Doctor Robert (and, that, was both a Beatles and Grateful Dead reference in the same review. Yeah, it’s late!).

If we find out more, we’ll pass it along!

Benefits, Claims & Features – Plaque Blast

Your Product Complaints, Frauds, Rip-Offs, Scams…

Order Process: This offer is pretty new but so far we haven’t seen anything. Since it’s new, expect the industry standard wait on shipping. New products usually have low margains in case marketers miss their guess on a product’s success.

Product Performance: We’ll be interested in knowing. There’s nothing out there yet, but they’re claiming 100% alcohol free.

The cost for shipping and handling is much higher than the cost for the actual product. They tell you it’s $6.99 shipping and handling. What they don’t tell you is that it is $6.99 for shipping and $6.99 for handling. They don’t give you the opportunity to review the complete order before you place it. What a scam. You can cancel the order – but they keep the shipping and handling. Either way, for them it’s a win win situation. How good can a product be if this is how they do business. If this product works I’ll let you know. If it doesn’t work, you can bet I’ll inform anyone who’ll listen.

I purchased this product for my 16 mo. old Pekingnese.  Used it only twice and then he developed lesions inside his mouth and a severe allergy.  Loss of color on face due to licking his nose as his mouth hurt so bad.  2nd day his immune system was compromised and quickly brought his to vet.  He is now on antibiotics and the $10.00 which I spent turned into a $132.00 vet visit not to mention the pain my doggie is in.  He’s on his way back to health now after a week but still can see gum damage that is healing.  OK, it does remove any tartar or plaque but really did not expect this!  Buyer beware as your dog may be able to handle it but mine was not.

I bought this product at a local supermarket.  I am very pleased.  I have 2 dogs and can see a big difference in both their teeth.  They have not had any reaction to the product and do not seem to mind me using it on them.  I just hope I can get some more from the market to avoid the shipping charges.

I bought Plaque Blast from Dr George website and got friggen ripped off with all sorts of fees. It advertises 1 spray for $10. doesn’t give you any clue what S&H cost. Then it offers a 2nd spray for $10 with no S&H charge. Then it asks you to submit making you think you will review the order before it is confirmed. Once I submitted it charged me $20 for product and $31 S&H..RIPOFF!!!!
