Arts & Crafts

The As Seen on TV industry has many different twists, turns & novelties to it, but it will always begin & end with the Arts & Crafts. Slicers, cutters, printing machines including CriCut & silkscreen machines including YuDu are the backbone of this feverish tradition. We do our best to keep up on the latest trends in Arts & Crafts, performing reviews and sharing the latest video and news.

Do you have a thing for Arts & Crafts? Is there a soft spot in your heart for the infomercial offerings to the trade? If so, please let us know how you feel about them. We love the interaction and, even more fun, we love to hear the dirt.

Check back here often as we give you the latest news and reviews as we finish them.

I've got an executive chair, multiple monitors, an ergonomic mouse and keyboard, and a top of the line printer than can scan, fax, copy, work to a cloud and once in awhile, I think it karaoke's to Amos Lee. What I'm trying to say is that I have no need for a NeatDesk. When I look at it for this review, I look at it as if I had to start all over again, would I consider using a NeatDesk or would I go with the setup I have. Upon initial thought I would say, 'no,' because I like paper documents, but who knows...

Instant Zipper is pitched by none other than the King, Anthony Sullivan . We love King Sully. The website is done by Internet Direct Response. We love Internet Direct Response - especially their National Sales Director Christopher Robbins. Seriously, he might the funniest guy in the industry. Probably had too many cold frozen winters in Maine to think up all his jokes, but if you get a chance to meet him, revel in it. Funnest few minutes of you life.

When we were little, Arts & Crafts involved a lot scissors and glues and construction paper. Stenciling & lace & fabrics from old t-shirts, revitalized into another living room garnishment. Nowadays, not only is it big business, but the machines that can be used to turn the once-casual pace activities is just plain impressive. Like with the Slice Digital Designer. But is it too digital for this old world? Or Should You Just go with the Cricut Expression instead?

Unless you can do it yourself. If only you add a YuDu Screen Printing Machine! Well, you can try one out and see for yourself if you want to make that a reality.

The great thing about getting away from the As Seen on TV Industry for awhile is that when we came back we got to see which products stood the test of time and which couldn't survive the 89 day shelf life. As we've said recently while talking with a couple readers, we don't have a dog in the fight when it comes to the products, but once in awhile we find ourselves cheering their success.

Decompressing w/ Dr. Ho's Back Belt [Review] - (I could have said, "pimpin' ").

Before I'd ever use a product like Dr. Ho's Back Belt, I would consult my chiropractor - who I haven't seen in awhile. What we found is that most people wouldn't take such an approach...

[Review] NutriBullet - It's Better Than Your Blender Because???? WTF?

I would swear that the NutriBullet is just a Magic Bullet with a different plastic skin and fonts & iconography. I assume that if I want to make veggie smoothies I could just use a Magic Bullet, but apparently I can't. Or something like that. I'm still looking.

Review - InstaBulb w/ Anthony Sullivan - Another Classic My Grandfather Used

This is one of those times where my grandfather bought something he wanted to see on TV and it was a great idea. I went into the garage and click the switch when I realized the light-bulb didn't look like an ordinary light-bulb.

Neutrogena SkinID [Review] - Free Skin ID Evaluation

With so many acne products out and about, on television, on the shelves, at the impulse counter, next to the Redbox and vending machines...It's enough to make one wonder as to why the competition is so fierce. Is it because no single product works well enough? Or is it because people have a hard time telling which product works for them. Maybe Neutrogena is onto something with the SkinID.

Before Vince came out with his copycat ShamWOW and his Time/Life operator headphones, there was a super-absorbent cloth that took care of the chills and spills your clumsy day created. And all you needed to know was that Billy Mays thought it was awesome.
