This past summer my grandfather had heart valve transplant surgery. 4 hour procedure. 8 hour recovery. He’s part cow now. The part we didn’t expect was the amount of time he would have to wear compression socks to keep his blood circulating. It caught us by surprised.

Order Process: We found a couple sadly typical “we didn’t know it cost that much,” complaints. Remember: $10.00 + $6.99 P&H + $6.99 P&H for the FREE one + $1.00 EPF (electronic processing fee aka “because we can”). In NJ & CA, there’s sales tax. If you’re in AK, AS, HI, FM, GU, MH, MP, PR, PW & VI – an additional $1.99. The website doesn’t initially display the shipping charges on the home page, but technically can get away with it because they are doing a two-step checkout & don’t initially ask for the credit card.
If you don’t want the second one: click on the checkbox above the order form that says, “YES! Please send my FREE…” This is called, “opt out,” meaning they assume you want it and you actually have to option yourself out of the second one.
Also, we see there’s a potential for a continuity program (subscription) for the Miracle Foot Repair. If you want it, great! But if you blindly click through the upsells and do want it, then you’ll get to have fun with the customer service company.
Product Performance: There’s some skepticism out there. Sadly, it’s probably more because of the name, “miracle,” but we actually understand the premise. If you’ve ever had to change your grandfather’s dressings, shoes & socks and clean his compression socks for him and see the way compression socks help those who’ve just gotten out of major surgery, you’re willing to give them an extra try.
One blogger asked why 20-somethings would like it. Good question, but if you’ve ever seen athletes who use those elbow sleves or calf sleeves, then you’ll know it runs off the same principle. Though if you’re going to use them in athletics, give yourself time to get used to it. I had a cousin who ran a marathon with compression socks on but had never trained with them and discovered around mile 20 just how much more circulation one can receive from compression socks. His last 5 miles were the slowest he ran in a decade because the increased activity also meant an increased buildup of lactic acid. So get used to them.
